How social are you?

Are you a connector???

This is an exercise culled from the book – Tipping point by Malcom Gladwell (but adapted to suit the African environment)to help you answer that question.

Connectors are said to know lots of people – friends and acquaintances; they know almost everybody. Your score on this exercise should give you a rough idea of just how social you are and how many friends you really have and acquaintances you know.

Points to note:

  • There are 250 names below
  • Go through the list and give yourself a point for every name you know – (The definition of know is very broad here i.e, you have introduced yourself to the person even if it is only once).
  • Multiple names do not count (due to the peculiarity of our names).
