Two down! boom!

boom

It’s the end of another lovely month (February)! It’s been power packed and full! but I’m glad it’s one more down (decided not to put the number of months to go…). Thanks to my blog followers who take time out of their busy schedules to read my posts and share. You guys keep me going. Thanks.

A brief recap if you missed any post this month;

1-step
#thisishowwedoit

Can you describe yourself to a child or someone who isn’t particular about your educational or professional achievements? Describe yourself gives you a starting point. I got a comment from Yewande which sums up the impact of this post.

This is so true. A friend asked me once to write 100 achievements starting from age 6.

Believing it will be easy peasy, I set out to start only to get stuck after writing 15 achievements in 1 hour so thanks a lot Tosan, I now know how to go about it. Good job.

To be big or to be great? tries to open our minds to our options as business owners – Is Go big or Go home the only option? This is what Humble though of it;

Great! I admire how you took your time to break things down.

It is true that while our individual views at the so called “small giants” insinuates that they are “local champs”. On the contrary, it could be that the driver’s mission/goal is/was to remain small but great.

It buttressed further in suggesting that there is need to draft Mission and Vision Statements for our business ventures. And should not be afraid to remain small giants if that was it’s original intent.

Thanks Tosan

Turn on the passion is my first short story, we learn a lot from things not even related to what is happening in the immediate. The hectic life of a wife & mom of two teaches us a thing or two on how to pursue our goals.

The New Age Seller redefines the idea of selling. In today’s economy where price hikes are the norm, This would help you get the desired results that keep you selling even when all else fails.

Who’s excited about March! I am!

Looking forward to reading, reviewing and sharing from these two books.

Learning from these women looks like fun… Be sure to tag along (click link to follow blog by email) to get the post fresh off the mill.

Have a lovely march into MARCH!

January in blogs! February in view

January

It’s the end of January, the first month in 2017. It’s been an interesting and challenging one especially since I decided to post weekly this year. All I can say, One month down, 11 to go. I expect to be a guru at this at the end of the year.

Thanks to the blog’s followers and readers who support and encourage me to keep at it. I invite you to continue on this journey with me and invite friends to come on as well; it will be worth their time.

Here are the blog posts in January,

I enjoyed the reactions from how social are you? As many wondered where I got all those names from as they searched through. I enjoyed reading Jack Canfield’s book – in how to get from point A to point B. I hope everyone has tried creating their life purpose statement so we can move on to reading it daily. Remember, it may not be perfect the first time. 100% LIFE IMPROVEMENT was a reinforcer and spiritual reminder that we have to play our parts, then we can let God do the rest.

So if you missed any, help yourself to the list above and follow the blog via email so you never miss another.

February

Welcome to February, the month of love… well, so they say. It promises to be an interesting one with 2 business books to be reviewed, a short story and a random/related post.

The only confirmed book for February is

  1. SMALL GIANTS by Bo Burlingham – 10th February

The second will be confirmed later.
Happy February!

Cheers.

New year, Newbies…

2017 outlook for Tosansreviews

Here’s welcoming everyone into the new year. HAPPY NEW YEAR! A toast to freshness and new possibilities.

In the spirit of new starts, I have introduced some newbies on the blog and thought to keep you updated.

1stly, I am increasing posts to weekly! That’s a minimum of 4 posts a month! Yayyy! I hope you are as excited as I am! #stretchingin2017

2ndly, I’m introducing related and random posts. So many times, the books leave me in such high spirits or gives takeaways, which can’t all go in to the book review. That’s where related posts come in.

Random posts are just the opposite and as they sound – random. This could also be short stories.

3rdly, I am going to put up the names of the two books to be reviewed in each month on the 1st day of each month to get you all on the reading journey so we can read together and also share more views on the same book.

NB: Book reviews will be on the second and last week of each month.

I look forward to having your company on this interesting ride. Remember to invite others and follow if you are not already doing so.

 2017 here we come!

Much love.
